New TV on DVD: Doctor Who, The Kill Point, Magnum, P.I., Saturday Night Live & More

This week, we get 18 new TV on DVD sets hitting store shelves. You could hire Magnum, P.I. to find a Doctor Who used to work on The Love Boat. But, this week’s Prime Pick is The Kill Point.

The Kill Point played on Spike TV last summer and turned out to be really good. It stars Donnie Wahlberg (Boomtown) as a negotiator and John Leguizamo (ER) as the leader of a group of soldiers recently returned from Iraq who attempts to rob a bank and ends up stuck in hostage situation. Would have liked to see some version of the show continue with the Wahlberg character. He was very interesting. The eight episode miniseries is definitely worth checking out.
