Only eight titles are hitting stores today, but they include the second season of Friday Night Lights. While not as great as season one, it was still one of the best shows on TV. Really glad it will be back for a third season, but would’ve liked to see where this season ended up, if they had been able to complete a full complement of episodes.
Right now Amazon is running a Movies and TV Store Blowout, which includes some pretty great deals on TV show DVD sets. You can find season sets of 3rd Rock from the Sun, Dharma & Greg, Roseanne, and Seinfeld and complete series sets of Band of Brothers and Six Feet Under, among others, all at up to 60% off. Most are right at 50% off or better.
