Over on cable, Discovery Channel has a new two hour Mysteries of the Shark Coast special.

In The Office news, the fourth webisode of four begins playing today.

Last Comic Standing (NBC): New. Find out who the remaining five will be. Runs two hours.

Flashpoint (CBS): New. The team must put personal feelings aside when a family member is holding a fellow cop hostage.

Solid Selections

Smallville (The CW): Repeat. Clark is abducted by Lionel and put in a kryptonite cage. Chloe and Lana take Kara to the Fortress in hopes of getting her powers restored, in “Traveler” from this past season.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. An ambulance crashes into another one and the lives of the paramedics hang in the balance, in “Crash Into Me” from this past season.

Fear Itself (NBC): New. A cattle herder seems different after being lost for days in the woods.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeat. Alton does some smashing of food myths in this episode, which is basically what the new show Food Detectives is, but in a much more entertaining and less annoying format. Plays again later.
Food Detectives (Food Network): Repeat. Replay of the series premiere episode, “5-Second Rule.” This show provides good info, but the show isn’t all that good. Plays again later.

The Bill Engvall Show (TBS): New. Susan dreams that Bill is going to have an affair with a woman named Penelope. Plays again later.
My Boys (TBS): New. The weekend threatens to go downhill as tension between Bobby and Jack is on the rise. Mimi Rogers (The Loop) guest-stars as an older woman that Mike connects with. Plays again later.

Burn Notice (USA): New. Michael is trying to find a woman held by a human smuggler. Plays again later. The first three episodes of this season replay earlier in the day.

Other Options

  • Ace of Cakes (Food Network): New. Geof is going for a Charm City Cakes record for tallest cake ever built. A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
  • The Gong Show with Dave Attell (Comedy Central): New. Ron White (Blue Collar Comedy Tour) is one of the judges. Plays again later.
  • The Next Food Network Star (Food Network): Repeat. Last Sunday’s “Finale” episode replays. See how it all went down. Will have an interview with the winner, Aaron McCargo, Jr., posted on Sunday, which is the day his new show will debut that afternoon. Plays again later.
  • So You Think You Can Dance (FOX): New. The results of this week are announced and two are sent home.

  • ESPN has the first day of X Games 14 coverage.

    I’m curious about Little People, Big World. Are they coming back, when? What happened? They were there then they were not!
