Life is Wild (The CW): New. The kids are all studying for midterms and Jessie is accused of cheating.

Cold Case (CBS): New. A man was murdered shortly after being released from an internment camp during World War II and the team reopens the case.

Shark (CBS): New. A long time friend of a rock star is found dead and the team looks into the agent and brother.

The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat. Marge gets some counseling to help her raise her children to be independent. Homer becomes a tow truck driver.
King of the Hill (FOX): New. The Hills are on the hunt for the garbage can bandit.

Mitch Albom’s For One More Day (ABC): Premiere. Another Mitch Albom book becomes a movie. In this one, a man about to commit suicide sees his dead mother and gets one more day with her. Stars Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos). Runs two hours.

Cable Choices

Food Network Challenge (Food Network): Repeat. Three hundred gingerbread artists compete in the annual “Gingerbread Championships.” Plays again later.

Dexter (Showtime): New. Dexter finds himself in a bit of trouble and Lila tries to blackmail him. How great is this show? How will Dexter get out of all this? Plays twice. The season finale is next week.

Throwdown With Bobby Flay (Food Network): New. Bobby Flay competes in a gingerbread battle. Plays again later.
Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): Repeat. Robert has to cook a meal for the Pixar people, all 600 of them. Plays again later.

  • An Accidental Christmas (Lifetime): Premiere. Two children try to get their parents back together during a school holiday party. Runs two hours. Plays again later.
  • Holiday in Handcuffs (ABC Family): Premiere. This is a new Christmas TV movie that stars Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) and Mario Lopez (Saved by the Bell). A woman needs a date for her family get-together and handcuffs herself to a stranger and forces him to go with her. Runs two hours and plays twice and then again on Tuesday and Saturday nights.
  • Nip/Tuck (FX): Repeat. The “Damien Sands” episode from last Tuesday replays.
