Army Wives - Season One on DVDOn cable tonight, A&E has the season two premiere of The Two Coreys, Discovery Channel has part three of When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions, Sci Fi has the two hour TV movie premiere of 100 Million BC, Spike has the two hour Guys Choice 2008 special, Style has the second season finale of Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, and VH1 has the premiere of their new eight part I Love the New Millennium special.

Criminal Minds (CBS): Repeat. The team thinks that a series of seemingly random murders may be a serial killer mimicking crimes from a decade earlier, in “A Real Rain” from season one.

Solid Selections

The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat. Lisa gets Marge to follow her dream of being a ballerina and Bart gets to see Homer’s secret beef jerky room, in “Smoke on the Daughter” from this past season.
Aliens in America (The CW): Repeat. Raja makes friends with a girl he thinks that others are treating unfairly, only to find her annoying as well, in “The Muslim Card.”

Family Guy (FOX): Repeat. Brian goes in search of a former flame only to find that he is the father of one holy terror of a son, in “Former Life of Brian” from this past season.
American Dad (FOX): Repeat. Francine wants to go on a real vacation after she finds that all her present vacation memories were implanted in her brain, in “Vacation Goo” from this past season.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat. Stella make Lynette some special brownies to help her through her chemo and Bree lets everyone in on what she heard at the Mayfair house, in “The Game” from this past season.

Cable Choices

Food Network Challenge (Food Network): Repeat. In “Mac & Cheese,” chefs try to improve upon a traditional macaroni and cheese dish. Plays again later.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA): New. A woman that used to date Captain Ross becomes a suspect in a case that Goren and Eames are investigating. Plays again later.

Army Wives (Lifetime): New. Denise befriends a wounded soldier at the hospital. Chase gets called away on another mission. Last week’s episode, “Strangers in a Strange Land,” replays right before. Both episodes play again later.

Other Options

  • Camp Rock (ABC Family): Released 2008. This movie is making the rounds of the Disney own television networks. It premiered on Disney Channel and ran just shy of two hours, then in played on ABC last night and ran three hours and now it plays on ABC Family and runs two and a half. Plays again next Saturday on Disney Channel with a two hour runtime.
  • In Plain Sight (USA): New. Marshall and Mary get stuck out in the desert with an irritating witness that is being sought after by a contract killer. Plays again later.
  • The Middleman (ABC Family): Repeat. The series premiere episode from last Monday replays following Camp Rock. Plays again tomorrow before a new episode. They really seemed to be trying to hard in the first episode, hopefully they will find the right groove for the show, as it has the potential to be a lot of fun.
  • The Next Food Network Star (Food Network): New. This week the remaining seven competitors must each show their expertise in front of the camera. Plays again later.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Sunday Night Baseball with the Chicago White Sox at the Chicago Cubs.
  • ESPN2 has Arena Football action.
  • NBC has U.S. Olympic Trials during the day and tonight.
  • TBS has MLB action with the St. Louis Cardinals at the Boston Red Sox.
  • TNT has NASCAR racing with the Sprint Cup: Toyota/SaveMart 350.

Discovery Channel has six episodes of MythBusters followed by the first three parts of When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions.
History Channel has six episodes of Mega Disasters.
The N has 12 hours of Degrassi: The Next Generation episodes.
