Over on cable, ABC Family has the first season finale of The Middleman, Spike has the TV movie premiere of Depth Charge, and TNT has the series premiere of Raising the Bar.

Prison Break (FOX): Season Premiere. Michael is out for revenge against Whistler and Gretchen and uncovers some unbelievable news in the process. Michael reunites with his brother and many of the gang, as they get an offer from a Homeland Security agent. Runs two hours. Check out some photos from tonight’s episode.

Gossip Girl (The CW): Season Premiere. Nate and Serena in the Hamptons and pretending to be a couple, so people won’t ask him about his secret relationship or her about still mourning her breakup with Dan. Blair is back and with a new guy in tow. Jenny works an invite to a big party. One Tree Hill (The CW): Season Premiere. We get to find out whom Lucas called, Nathan’s comeback may be cut short, Dan’s not looking good and Brooke is fighting over her company with her mother.

The Closer (TNT): Repeat. Last Monday’s spectacular episode, “Sudden Death,” replays. It is part of a 13-episode marathon.

Raising the Bar (TNT): Series Premiere. A new lawyer show from Steven Bochco (NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues) that shows you what happens from all sides of the system: judges, prosecutors and public defenders. Plays again later.
